It doesn't matter if you have a few or a lot, I would recommend a Great Pyranese LGD. They are friendly, loyal, and have a natural instinct to protect. Moses and Shiloh came to us from working homes when their owners went out of the livestock business. Sugar is from the Pankonin Farm Kennel, she is currently learning to guard with our bucks. Sammy is from Mel and Doris Uphoff, and is currently guarding with Shiloh our bred does, and the doelings. This is pretty good as she is only 10 months old herself. It is wonderful to see these dogs mature into themselves and see how they love their goats.
